Mixed Doubles Marathon 2005
Well done to all who took part in Sundays Doubles
Marathon. Dittons won three status
events and two Veteran events.
Fiona D Andrew and Suzanne took JS,
Helen and I with Sheila W took Junior,
MalcolmF Anne N and Maxine took Novice,
Dave G Miranda and Sam won Vet 80 and
Malcolm K Ruth and Sheila F won the very veteran
It was a very good competition with excellent conditions,
and a bit of added interest was
provided by the neighbouring sailing club who decided to run
a tacking competion over the
last 100 metres to the finish. Happily there were no disqualifications for
use of foul language.
