Showers

As you will be aware we have an ongoing problem with the showers leaking in to the gym.

It is proposed to dig out all the grout etc and put in new grout and reseal the showers.

Work will commence on Saturday 15th February in the men's showers and will be out of use until Thursday 20th. On Saturday after "Bridge to Bridge" if the girls can shower before tea and then clear the changing room for the men to use after tea and on Tuesday 18th if the girls can finish showering by 8.45 for the men to follow afterwards.

The ladies showers will be started on 1st March and be out of use until Thursday 6th March.

Notices will be put up nearer the time.

We are also looking for some volunteers, 3, for the mornings of Saturday 15th Feb and 1st March to help with the removal of the grout. Please let me know if anyone can help. Any help will be appreciated, many thanks!!

Sorry for any inconvenience but as you can appreciate we have had this problem for sometime and repairs need to be carried out.

Cleaner Wanted

As you will be aware Phil took over as "House Captain" in November and one of the first things he did was dispense of the cleaners as they were not doing a very good job and not doing the full 4 hours required.

As it was close to Christmas he did not advertise for new ones and we have been doing the cleaning in the interim. Before we look into the possibility of advertising does anyone know of anyone looking for a cleaning job?

The requirements are: A total of 4 hours a week split into 2 lots of 2 hours, eg: 2 hours Monday/Tuesday and 2 hours Thursday/Friday. £10.00 per hour.

Areas to be cleaned: Club room, changing rooms, hall, stairs and landing and kitchen floor.
